Elder Ames and Elder Bright

Here are some photos from my one-day assignment for a picture story/essay class. I met Elder Ames and Elder Bright while shooting another story a couple of weeks ago.

Hey Eddie,
I was taking a longer look at these pics. You've got a pretty solid set for your first assignment. I especially like the first two. I would check out a little tighter crop on the second...pulling down just enough to cut out the light in the back from the door way. I think that would help my eye complete the circle, rather than get stuck at that spot.
Also, was thinking a bit more about the way they visit peoples homes. I know this was the more difficult situation to shoot in, but, if you can pull back. Show the pair on the porch knocking on the door with their bikes parked on the sidewalk (or whereever they place 'em), well yeah, that might be something to look for if you know they follow a route.

Good luck.

Three and Four are my favs. I would like the see three cropped down from the top. Some good advice I was given is to make people think more about your pictures by leaving things out. We know it's a chalkboard without seeing the whole thing.
